My son loves the pirated skeleton cartoon which is why I decided to make a pallet bed for him and painted of the pirated skeleton. The complete pallet bed looks great because it came out to be the way I wanted and I am sure my son would love it too. Only some easy steps helped me make an awesome pallet bed.
Steps for Pallet bed:
- I got the pallets for free from the warehouse and joint it together by following the guidelines online. I had to drill in the pieces together according which did not take me long.
- Then I decided to paint the headboard of the pallet bed. I bought white, black and red paint to design the pirated skeleton on the head board. It took a while because I had to be careful with the accuracy of how big it needs to be.
- Once that dries off, I placed the bed in the room by hanging a flag of pirated skeleton at the end of the bed to give it a complete look.
The room looked great with the theme I wanted for my son’s bed. I placed the mattress on it with stripes bed sheet. I decided not to paint the pallet bed because I wanted to give it a natural and rough look that is why I just sandpaper it. I painted anchor on the other end of the bed which looks beautiful. The bed is of single size and I did not have to work much on it because I found the pallets easily from the warehouse. I like pallets personally because they are stress free and you can be creative any way you desire to be. Try the pallet bed at your home on weekend and you will feel good by making something productive over the weekend.
