The pallets after being used in shipping industry are disposed of after being used. The pallets after being disposed of are recycled everywhere in the world so that these could be used again to make useful pieces of furniture with them. I am sharing one of reclaimed pallet table project with all of my readers and you will find it quite unique. Adding new life to old pallets is one of my favorite activities and I always feel excited about doing a DIY pallet project. I love the very vintage look of the entire surroundings where you keep particular pallet furniture.
You can see that the pallet recycled table is so unique and looks so different from a typical table. This is basically has an angled edges which makes it comfortable with easy transition between sitting and standing. You can see closely that the back two edges I have deliberately left square and unchanged and you can see the stacking structure clearly. I have not used the pallet as a whole but have used the separate pallet planks to make the repurposed pallet table. It was not possible for me to use the entire pallet structure as I needed separate planks for this unique project. I did sanding for each separate plank so that all the rough surfaces and stains are completely removed.
I have applied four wheels under this pallet table so that moving from one place to another becomes easy and accessible. I have developed a soft cozy surface to the top of the table and in conjunction of the seat itself. This soft surface is being created using woollen fleece cuts which looks like a cushion. You can see that the color of the woolen fleece cuts looks similar to the pallet plank’s color. You can take off these woolen fleece cuts for washing purpose easily.
Hence you can also try this project which is going to be a tough but will add a real beauty to your house.
