The pallet storage rack is a simple yet shabby chic piece of furniture. It can be homemade and personalized. Put a mini pallet rack at the entrance and convert it into a shoe rack. Place it in your room and put your school bag and books in it. You can set it in your hall way or kitchen. The mini rack is made from reclaimed crate wood and is a strong little guy! An inserted plank in the centre of the crate divides it into two shelves and a top along with stubby legs for a strong support.
Take a crate, give it a once over and soften edges by sanding it. Attach the legs and shelf corbels on the inner two sides. Paint the crate box as well as shelf. Once it is dry, fix the shelf into the box, and make sure it is sturdy. Now your crate rack is ready to be placed anywhere. It is handy in the kitchen to put books and jars. You can even use it put your pretty pies and cakes while they cool.
Use it as a magazine stand or a bed rack. This rustic looking mini rack is a clutter clearer without any restrictions for usage and placement. You can use the top or just put some pretty baubles to brighten it up.
